High Frequency Generator

Back in college we built a chain of homemade, High Frequency Generator , ~15kv capacitors in a spark gap generator. Connect 10 in series and add a nice horn antenna and we could EMP a cheap radio at 10ft.

Of course it was about 10ft long, contained tubs filled with oil, and would ark to anything near it…but it was a weapon. Just not a practical one.

Yes, just make sure your enemy will stand still as you move truck it into place, aim it, fire up the generator, charge the caps for a bit, and will hold their small electronic device , High Frequency Generator , near the end with all the sparks.
