“His Truth is Marching On”, or “Glory Glory Hallelujah” was a song made up and sung by supporters of the Union Army during the American Civil War.
When I learned to sing the Glory part, I did not know. That is also only thing I can sing with a guy from Lyinchburg.
If the North sang this song to justify their deeds against the South, how did Christians from the South like it if they supported the South?
It was something like the Crusade exposition. I do not believe Christians should use violence to force anyone.
I was aware the origin of this song, I made the first comment to address that the USA is not a Christian nation.
