I just listened to George Benson’s version, and while I liked it alot, I really love this one. Jeffrey has got it goin’ on vocally so much in this song. Makes you wish you were with the one you love instead of sitting at the computer. Smooth, slow, and so sexy. Classics like this last forever.
We took great music and talent for granted back in the 70’s. Jeffrey Osborne has a great gift. His music is positive and uplifting. Most musio since then requires little talent, We are being a sold a very negative message performed by idiots that didn’t graduate from jr. high and we are led to believe this is some great art form. The public deserves much better. Take me back to the time of the Temptations, The Five Stairsteps, The Fifth Dimension, and Earth, Wind and Fire.
i actually met jeffrey at his ny concert a few months ago and this man is so fine, and classy and kind they really need to honor him right now on bet and the other shows. he “sings” and we dont have many people today that can really do that. oh my this man is classy and so handsome. everyone at the apollo was in deep awe and had so much respect for him and when he took off that jacket and showed those muscles…lawd have mercy
