We honor those who answer the call, “compaqowner”. We honor those who bled, died and some who took Normandy, who took Europe from the hands of Hitler, from those who stand on the walls in the dark of night to protect us from harm, to those who do the night watches on ships in the cold Atlantic, who disappear from their families for months at a time, under the ocean, in the snow, in harm’s way. If you can think for yourself, I think you should leave the USA if you cannot honor those who serve.
World War two was a war that needed to be fought and you are right that we should honer the people who fought in that war. But honoring troops who were in Korea, Vietnam, and in Iraq is not something I choose to do since they went to those places on their own free will and paid the ultimate price for lies from politicians who don’t care except to use our service men and women as props for the media. Blame them for cutting vetran’s benefits.
